In business for over 42 years, Hara Products Ltd. is one of the first plastics
manufacturing facilities in Saskatchewan. Primarily involved
in Injection Molding of it's brand name products and custom orders, Hara produces over 100
quality plastics components from it's Swift Current plant. Products range from hardware
items and consumer goods to sophisticated technical components, and have been used by
various industries - from automotive to telecommunications - across Western Canada, the
United States and Mexico.
The production facility has seven machines ranging in size from 70 to 375 tons clamp,
and a maximum shot size of 28 ounces. Hara also has equipment to decorate and assemble
plastic components.
Quality
We have developed our own, in-house, quality system based on the ISO/9002 guidelines.
Product is inspected at the press according to our process control
procedures.
If more detailed inspection is required by our Customers, such as part measurement
or documented visual inspections, we can easily incorporate this into our procedure.
Process Control
Controlled and consistent machine parameters are the foundation of a good quality
product. We maintain complete production records and statistics of all runs
in our plant. As well, detailed machine and molding parameters are kept
and updated to assure consistent quality each time a product is produced.
Manufacturing Software
Hara's operating system, from order entry to shipping, is driven by a custom developed
software application, of our own design. Order information, production data and
inventory control are maintained directly from the plant floor, providing us with up to
the minute information on your order and it's progress. Complete production records
and machine parameters, as well as machine/mold maintenance records are archived on our
network for instant access.
